The website lists 168 fire models in six categories such as fire endurance, egress, detector response, zone, field and miscellaneous. One can get further information on most of the models via webpage links. The background to the survey is also available on the website in the form of two downloadable articles that were published in the Society of Fire Protection Engineers' Journal of Fire Protection Engineering, Vol. 4(3), 1992 and Vol. 13(2), 2003.
