Certification Programs
There are two separate certification programs offered by the CISC Steel Structures and Steel Bridges.
CISC Steel Structures Certification
• Focused on the fabrication shop (does not include erection activities)
• Audited by recognized third party auditing organization.
• Available to any structural steel fabricator in the world*

CISC Steel Bridges Certification
• Focused on the fabrication shop (does not include erection activities)
• Audited by recognized third party auditing organization
• Available to any structural steel fabricator in the world*

Companies performing fabrication for Steel Structures and Steel Bridges
A company wishing to be certified for both Steel Bridges and Steel Structures shall demonstrate that they perform both activities on an ongoing basis. The separate or joint audits shall clearly demonstrate conformance to both structural and bridge activities.
